It is well known that providing students with effective feedback can enhance their learning. It stands to reason that gathering student feedback  can enhance a teachers's ability to teach effectively.

Re-framing feedback to enhance teaching and learning is an endeavor that can be taken on by teachers in their own classrooms or by schools across all of their stages. Ultimately, a continuous improvement policy would benefit schools and their teachers to enhance teaching and learning.

Teacher professional development can be informed by student feedback and understanding the ways that students respond to different experiences in the classroom can help teachers focus their professional development pursuits and develop their knowledge and skills in areas that will benefit their teaching abilities and styles and subsequently enhance their student's learning.

The aim of the My Student Life blog is to provide insight into teaching and learning from a student's perspective.
